The New Band!

DOPE! that is what the new band is!
Fantastico! Enter Drummer Chris Stomquist, a very versatile cat who plays Cuban son as good as he does funk!
He joins guitarist Marko "Sweetcane" Pankovich, who aside from his sweet African and Hatian guitar chops has been
practicing el montuno! And of course master groovesman Jorge Bringas on Bass, the amazing pianist
and radical sound sculptor Pablo Vergara on keys, the incredible Ze Mauricio on master percussion and there you have it!
One of the best groups of musicians that I know coming together to play my music! I am blessed! Thank you fellas! Looking
forward to lots of great shows in 2012 and beyond!

Why is the Blog called "Runnin with the Salmon" you might ask? Well indie musicians are salmon swimmin upstream... and believe it or not, even though my taste in music went all over the world, through many ages and genres, I love Van Halen! Hasta Luego!

Building a site from scratch is like making pancakes.
Using templates is like using Aunt Jemimah. I would love to hire a web designer,
but quite frankly, after having two sites in 7 years built that cost thousands of dollars,
and failed to be the functional, useable, interactive venues which I envisioned,
paid for, and requested, I have gone it alone this time and am using good old
Aunt Jemimah! In this case, Bandzoogle is facilitating the tools and the roads
for my organization and creativity. Hopefully with time and tweaks, and some REAL maple syrup,
this sight will be as sweet as scratch made pancakes!
